Synopsis
One of the world’s most volatile regions, as told by the fishermen of its namesake lake – Kivu. They are the guardians of the lake. They know all the secrets, all the dangers and all the riches. As they fish or spend evenings by the water, they tell their stories and tell each other. A rumor of a killer fish, Mamy Watta, the genius of the lake, an old Belgian settler, a methane reserve ready to explode, two belligerent countries, and above all the little stories of everyday life, family, life and death.
