Guet Ndar, the fishermen's district of Saint-Louis in Senegal, has been threatened for several years by rising water levels, causing considerable human and material damage. One stormy evening, Djibril and Marie's neighbors' house is swept away by the ocean. For Marie, the danger is too great: she wants to move and get her three daughters to safety.
